Tabuk is the capital of the Tabuk Region in northwestern Saudi Arabia, serving as a gateway to the Jordanian border and the futuristic NEOM megaproject. It has a rich history dating back to biblical times and is known for the Tabuk Castle and the Hijaz Railway station. Geographically, it is unique in Saudi Arabia because it experiences snow in the winter on its surrounding mountains (like Jebel Al Lawz). The region offers a mix of dramatic red deserts, rock formations that rival incredible canyons, and pristine coastline along the Gulf of Aqaba.
